Find contractor renewal opportunities with the right policy and bond context

Use official Washington contractor-license records and their insurance and surety addenda to find active contractors with an upcoming license, current insurance-policy, or actual dated surety-bond renewal.

Published by JS Tech Solutions on Apify

Available individual datasets from $3 per 1,000 records. Start with a free tailored preview or a fixed-price managed pilot.

License, current insurance-policy, and dated surety-bond renewal filters are all live.

The published actor filters each real renewal date directly. Insurance-policy searches accept one or both date bounds; surety-bond searches require both bounds, exclude open-ended bonds, and automatically attach the matching current coverage.

Approaching contractor-license renewals

Filter contractor-license expiration dates and distinguish each licensing deadline from the actual current insurance-policy or surety-bond renewal date.

Current insurance and surety context

Direct policy and bond expiry targeting

Filter current insurance policies by expiration date or find surety bonds with a real dated renewal. Required source joins happen automatically.

Source coverage and honest limitations

Washington contractor licenses

Official Labor & Industries registration data includes license status, business identity, specialty, location, license expiration, and published business contact details.

Insurance addendum

Where published, the current policy identifies the carrier, coverage amount, agency, effective date, and policy expiration. Missing dates remain missing.

Surety-bond addendum

Where published, the current bond identifies its surety, amount, dates, cancellation, and impairment. A bond marked Until Canceled does not have a dated renewal deadline.

State-published coverage can change, lapse, or be canceled. Confirm insurance and surety details with the official Washington Labor & Industries source before relying on them. We do not represent an open-ended or historical bond as a dated renewal opportunity.

Questions buyers ask

Can I filter directly by insurance policy or surety-bond expiration today?

Yes. Use insuranceExpirationFrom and insuranceExpirationTo to target current policies, or bondExpirationFrom and bondExpirationTo for current surety bonds with an actual dated expiration. Insurance accepts one or both bounds; bond searches require both bounds and a window of at most 366 days. Required joins are automatic, and open-ended Until Canceled bonds never match.

Is a contractor-license renewal the same as an insurance-policy renewal?

No. A license expiration, policy expiration, and bond expiration are separate dates. They should never be represented as interchangeable sales triggers.

What does Until Canceled mean for a surety bond?

The state publishes some bonds without a specific expiration date. Those records can identify current coverage, but they do not establish a dated renewal opportunity.

Where does the contractor and insurance data come from?

The source is Washington State Department of Labor & Industries public data, including the contractor-license registry and its published insurance, bond, and principal addenda.
