E-Rate Form 470 RFP Feed
We turn USAC's FCC Form 470 filings into one record per posting: the US school, district, library or consortium buying E-Rate-discounted connectivity, what it wants, and when it can sign. Each record folds together every service request and every attached RFP document for that posting, plus the applicant, technical and consultant contacts.

Who uses this
ISPs, fiber and broadband providers
Filter to states, Category 1, and rfpOnly to find postings with a real written spec to bid on.
Network, Wi-Fi, switching and AV vendors and resellers
Work Category 2 postings, using manufacturer and function to see whether the district already specced a competitor's gear.
RFP-response shops and bid desks
Pull the RFP document itself, not just a notification; every attachment is a direct URL.
EdTech and managed-service sellers
Build territory lists from applicant type, entity name, state, and the E-Rate consultant of record on every posting.
Market analysts
Track E-Rate demand by funding year, category, service type, and geography.

How it works
1
Run it on Apify
Open the listing, sign in to Apify, and press Start. The actor reads the public source directly, normalizes each record, and writes the results to your Apify dataset. You can also schedule it to run on a cadence.
2
Filter to what you need
- •fundingYear: 2027, current, or all; funding year N runs 1 July N-1 to 30 June N
- •state: two-letter billed-entity states, exact match
- •serviceCategory: Category 1 or Category 2
- •serviceType: substring match, e.g. internet, Internal Connections
- •keyword: substring on the billed entity name
- •postedFrom / postedTo: Form 470 certification date range
- •rfpOnly: only postings that carry an RFP document
- •maxResults: 1 to 50000, sets the cost cap
- •includeRaw: attach the untouched source rows behind the posting
3
Export or connect
Download the dataset as CSV, JSON, or Excel from the Apify console, or pull it straight into your own system through the Apify API and integrations.
Default run with no input returns the 100 newest postings for the current funding year, about 4.7 seconds wall time. maxResults ranges 1 to 50000. current funding year auto-widens to include the previous funding year if the current one can't fill maxResults, and the run summary records whether that happened. A broad, unfiltered run that returns zero postings fails rather than reporting an empty success; a narrowed search returning zero is a valid free result.
Pricing
$4 per 1,000 records
Pay per result, billed through your Apify account at $0.004 per record. You are charged only for the records the run delivers to your dataset, so a filtered run that matches nothing costs nothing. No subscription, no minimum.

Questions buyers ask
How do I find E-Rate RFPs I can actually bid on?
Filter rfpOnly to true, plus your states and serviceCategory. Each returned posting carries every attached RFP document as a direct URL under rfpDocuments, and service-level filters never truncate a posting's other service requests.
Does this tell me who won an E-Rate contract?
No. A Form 470 is a request, not an award. Who won is published in a different USAC dataset, Form 471 / funding commitments.
How fresh is this E-Rate posting data?
USAC publishes an update frequency of Daily for this dataset, so running the Actor on a schedule tracks USAC's own refresh.
